Final project: Revise the submissions from Weeks 2–5 in light of the facilitator’s comments and suggestions, and organize the revised sections so that they form a cohesive analysis. The final project should be in the form of a 750–1,000-word essay, double-spaced in APA format. Collate all of the analysis papers written into one final document that touches on all of the five subjects discussed in the lectures. The paper must be written with vocabulary appropriate to the subject, correct spelling, and grammar, and it must show insights for all the topics as they relate to the current events previously analyzed. Provide citations for the sources used.
Provide the facilitator with a one- to two-page analysis of a current event, using Socratic philosophy. For example, you might use the Socratic method to analyze a current event, or investigate how self-knowledge is at work in your issue. Include the following points in your paper: A thesis that clearly states your view on the issue and how Socratic philosophy is being used to analyze the issue. Analyze the relationship of the current event to philosophy. Provide facts, information, and perspectives from the news articles that support your argument. Include facts, information, and arguments that challenge your perspective, and explain why they are ultimately unpersuasive.
